The AB residence was designed having as its main definition the use of metallic structure for its construction. This decision allowed most of the work to happen very quickly.
The metal structure was kept apparent and is part of the entire architectural proposal adopted. Wood coverings, natural stones and metal sheets were incorporated into the project, helping to define the volumes and making the spaces more welcoming.
Each floor of the residence has different levels of visual integration. The basement was implanted through a cut in the land, allowing it to be more ventilated. The ground floor, where the social areas are located, has large aluminum and glass frames, bringing the landscaping into the environments and visually expanding them. The veranda and the leisure area are on this floor and their arrangement creates large open spaces for living together. On the upper floor, formed by a large suspended volume, the enclosures with movable wooden sunshades guarantee greater privacy, according to the needs of the residents.
