“We highlight Brazilian roots, highlighting natural materials and earthy tones, aligned with contemporary times and cosmopolitan living”, exemplifies Troncon. The environment, which comprises a generous area of 280m², emphasizes the integration of the interior architecture with the exterior space of the house, wrapped in the theme of nature, which reverberates for the decoration of the house and furniture.
An imposing Flamboyant incorporated into the living area, stands out when crossing the right foot of the house. It is the tree that, based on the colors of the trunk and the green crown, sets the tone for the prevailing color palette in the decor. “The nuances of Brazilian fruits, such as the rich nuances of brown, the color of cocoa, the redness of the cashew, the bright yellow of the mango, in addition to exploring the amber, rust and orange tones, served as a mood of inspiration for the development the production of the entire project, without losing focus on cozy minimalism”, says Daniela Frugiuele.
The geometry of the house is revealed by a wooden volume that supports the roof plan and results in the social area fully integrated into the garden. The marking of these blocks is due to the use of different finishes, such as the European oak from Parket, which houses the bedroom. The other volume, on the other hand, gains a special textured painting that surrounds the shelf, covered with a watercolor panel in earthy tones, developed by the plastic artists Adriana and Carlota.
The natural elements gain more prominence in the kitchen from the elemental use of soapstone, extracted from Minas Gerais and supplied by Pagliotto, which, by the hands of professionals from Suite Arquitetos, gains the function of a countertop within the space. The piece of furniture is even more dynamic by incorporating the sink, a cooktop and the oven, and remains aligned with the dining table, also in light tones, accompanied by a pair of Leader chairs, in moss green.
The bedroom, on the other hand, presents a deconstructed configuration with the joinery panel in muxarabi, causing the impression of dissolution as the small squares reveal the landscape of the garden behind the space. The gradient effect can also be seen in the wall covering in the bedroom, by the company Branco Papel de Parede, which runs the entire length of the bathroom, located in the external area of the house. “We did something stripped and at the same time conceptual in the bathroom – the garden, trees, raw stone and the absence of a roof in the shower, make our idea of an outdoor bathroom come true”, explains Troncon.
