The house was designed with materials that draw connections to the surrounding site, emphasizing natural elements that strategically blend and pop within the enclosing environment. The approach was to create optimal views that emphasize the surrounding landscape, the boathouse was intentionally placed to maximize these views.
The windows frame incredible sunsets and capture intimate moments of the passing seasons. The interior maintains a contemporary design, using natural light to highlight the raw materials that seamlessly merge from the outside in. The boathouse remains in harmony with nature, drawing influence from the encompassing setting blended within a contemporary design.
